The Supreme Court of the United States\u2019 Muller v. Oregon <\/i>decision established in 1908 that physical differences between men and women could justify different treatment under labor laws. At the time, this was considered progressive. For decades, this <\/i>ruling laid the groundwork for many states to pass laws regulating working conditions for women.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n
